Welcome to Hayashiyo
We have been weaving ramie textile for over 120 years, since we were founded as we started Ohmi-Jofu, which is high-grade ramie Kimono textile. Hayashiyo is located in farming village where surrounded by rice fields.
It was very common to witness scenes of people weaving in wintertime, when there was less farming to be done. Now we continue to weave not only ramie but a lso linen textiles, taking over 120 years of history.
